Bernard R. Delsmann, 78, formerly of 6229 Cty. Tk. R., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, March 31, 1990, at North Ridge Care Center.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne’s Catholic church, Francis Creek. Father Donald Schneider will officiate and burial will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
Mr. Delsmann was born October 9, 1911, in the town of Kossuth, son of the late Frank and Margaret Andres Delsmann Sr. He attended school at St. Anne’s Parochial School and was a member of the St. Anne’s Church Parish. He married Emily Benishek on February 1, 1933, in Francis Creek.
Survivors include his wife, Emily; one son, Raymond Delsmann of Manitowoc; four daughters and sons-in-law, Eileen and Stanley Maurer of Sheboygan, Helen and Donald Graham of Montesano, Washington, Janet and Francis Paszkiewicz of Manitowoc, Marjorie and Raymond Kopetsky of Two Rivers; two brothers, Frank Delsmann and William Delsmann, both of Manitowoc; two sisters, Miss Clara Delsmann of Manitowoc and Mrs. Margaret Swope of Oregon; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and one grandchild.
Friends may greet the family from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name. Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with arrangements.
