BROWNSBORO - Services for Rayburne "Ray" Edwin Delong, 84, Brownsboro, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home chapel with Dan Hockemeyer officiating.

Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park.

Mr. Delong died April 8, 2008, in Athens.

He was born March 25, 1924, in Breckenridge to the late Issac Price and Zula Iva Griffin Delong. He served in the Army and was an electrician. He lived in Mabank until moving to Brownsboro in 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Delong.

Survivors include daughters, Kay Robertson and Nita Sargent, both of Brownsboro; brother, Clinton Delong, Lubbock; sister, Lou Brown, Rio Vista, and Clovie Myers, Plano; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
