Celestina was christened at the Parish of Saint Augustine on April 13, 1822. She married Pablo Bartola Canova at the Parish on November 12, 1840. They have four children: 1 boy and 3 girls. Celestine, as she preferred to be called, moved with her husband and family to Jacksonville before 1850. Sometime in the 1870s, she and her husband moved to Baker County, Florida. Paul died in 1886, and Celestine returned to Jacksonville. In 1900, she was residing in the home of her daughter Cornelia at 123 Adams Street in Jacksonville.
