Funeral Services To Be Conducted in City Saturday.
Andrew P. (Putt) Young, 80, who spent most of his life in this county, died at 11:15 o'clock Thursday night at the county hospital after a few days illness. He roomed at 311 Second street.
Funeral rites have been set for 2 o'clock Saturday at the Flanigan, Reed and Hull funeral home with the Rev. Gilbert Curry, pastor at the East Columbus Methodist church, in charge. Burial will be made at Garland Brook cemetery.
The casket is open at the funeral home until time of the services Saturday.
Mr. Young was born in Illinois and came here in early childhood spending his remaining life in the county.
The wife, Lottie, preceded him in death in 1930.
Survivors include a son, Orville G. Young, of near Dayton, O., a stepdaughter, Mrs. Paul Morledge, of this city, and six grandchildren.
