She was born July 11, 1927, in Daybrook, WV, where she resided until she was married on July 1, 1945 to Ted Moore, her childhood sweetheart. They established their home in Jakes Run, where they raised their family and enjoyed their lives together.
Hilma devoted her life to caring for and supporting her family. Her strong will to reach out and touch our lives never wavered. Her love runneth over from her soul.
Her amazing spirit and enjoyment of life encouraged us all. She enjoyed family gatherings and holiday celebrations. She especially enjoyed family vacations at the beach where she relished viewing the sunrise at the dawn of each new day.
She was a loyal friend to all who knew her and she befriended every person that she met.
She is survived and missed by her loving husband and soul mate of 60 years, Ted Moore; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and David William Frazier of Jakes Run; a son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Carlene Moore also of Jakes Run; five grandsons, David Frazier and wife, Stephanie, Michael Frazier, Billy Frazier, Bryan Moore and Zachary Moore; one great-grandson, Brandt Frazier; and one great granddaughter, finally, Sidney Frazier.
