Stanley T. Collister
Stanley T. Collister, a former Painesville resident, died suddenly on Thursday at his home in New Smyrna Beach.
Mr. Collister was born July 14, 1886. He received his elementary and high school education here and later attended Ohio State University.
He was a member of the Congregational Church and was a 32nd degree Mason.
In 1935, he served as a member of the Painesville Twp. Board of Education. From 1936 to 1950, when he retired, he worked for the board as its clerk-treasurer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Shepard; two sons, William of San Francisco and Geoffrey of Detroit; a daughter, Mrs. Maynard Fenner, of Mifflintown, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. F. D. Heckathorn, 274 W. Washington St., here.
