Mrs. Edward Goldsmith
Stella Frances Goldsmith, 95, of 213 S. Chestnut St., died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, following an extended illness in a local hospital.
She was born May 24, 1880, in Harrison County, a daughter of the late William and Florinda Ward Brown.
Her husband Edward Goldsmith, preceded her in death in September of 1949.
Surviving are three sons, Ira Goldsmith, Lumberport, Fred Goldsmith, Baltimore, MD. and Raymond Goldsmith, Salem; four daughters, Mrs. Leafie Agnes Richards, Grantsville, Mrs. Iva Maude Hurst, Coplin Avenue, Mrs. Acyneth Lamb, California and Mrs. Mae L. Lowell, 213 S. Chestnut St.; one sister, Mrs. Icie Mayfield, 514 Worthington Drive, Bridgeport; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
One son, one daughter, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Goldsmith was a member of the Jarvisville Baptist Church.
