Man Stricken at race track
Farmington - A Palmyra man suffered a fatal heart attack yesterday in the parking lot of Finger Lakes Race Track.
Abraham Abbott, 57, of 156 Fayette St., Palmyra was attending the races with his wife, Florence, and his two sons, Bud and Bill.
Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies, Dale Pimm, Robert Smith and Robert Kleman said Abbott collapsed as the family was walking toward his car. His son Bill reportedly applied mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but to no avail.
Ontario County Coroner, Dr. Charles Bathrick pronounced the man dead at the scene.
