Adam Angus died at his home west of Mt. Etna Monday morning at 10 o'clock. He has been ailing with stomach trouble for several months. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The wife, daughter, and two little sons have the sympathy of the community.

Adam Angus, whose death was mentioned in our last week's issue, was born February 13, 1861, in Marshall county, Illinois, and passed away from this life Monday, February 10, 1913, after a long illness from cancer. Mr. Angus resided at his birth place until 1874 when the family came to Iowa, locating in Cass County. February 12, 1900, he was married to Miss Elizabeth Kingery and located in Adams County. To Mr. and Mrs. Angus five children were born, two of whom died in infancy. The surviving children are Lulu, Ralph, and Leo. Beside his wife and children Mr. Angus leave four sisters, Miss Maggie and Violet Angus, near Mt. Etna; Mrs. J. P. Cupp of Corning, and Mrs. D. W. Bell, of Massena; also five brothers, William, Thomas, Robert, and John Angus of Adams County, and leaves James, who resides at Marysville, British Columbia. The deceased was well known not only in Mt. Etna, his home town, but had many friends all over the county. The funeral services were held Wednesday, February 12, 1913, at the Mt. Etna Dunkard Church, conducted by Rev. S. Buckley, of Lenox, and interment was made in the Dunkard Cemetery.
