OBITUARY-
The funeral for Agnes Olga Armstrong will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Austin with the Rev. Patricia Toschak officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

Mrs. Armstrong, 92, of Austin, a homemaker, died Wednesday (March 10, 1999) at Austin Medical Center.

Agnes Olga Paulson was born Oct. 14, 1906, in Hanska, Minn., and married Charles Armstrong there on June 10, 1930. Her husband died in 1969. Mrs. Armstrong was member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years, and was a member of the Shrine Auxiliary, First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, cooking, crafts and playing cards.

Survivors include two sons, Charles of Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii, and Robert of Stockton, Calif.; a daughter, Betty (Mrs. Otto) Volkert of Austin; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Minnie Stockstad of Sleepy Eye, Minn. A brother and five sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin and an hour before the service Saturday at the church. Unity Chapter 29 of the Order of the Eastern Star will conduct a service at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church in Austin.
