Born in Kittery, Maine, June 23rd, 1905, she was the daughter of Cornelius and Antje (Ketting) Bach. A resident of this community for many years, she was a member of the United Methodist Church, New Paltz. Her husband, Douglas Alverson, died on October 31st, 1967. He had owned and operated Doug's Garage, New Paltz, for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joan Baden, Webster; two brothers, John Bach, Kingston, and Cornelius Bach, Seattle, Wash., a sister, Mrs. Marie Marsh, Rhinebeck, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
