77 Year Old Resident of Hartland Dies
Mrs. Sigurd (Agatha) Borge, 77, who had been ill one year with diabetes, died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Naeve Hospital following a stroke.
A daughter of the late Johannes and Helga Cleveland, she was born June 4,1885 at Bergen, Norway. In 1902 she came to the United States and located at Bode, Iowa.
She was married in 1911 to Sigurd Borge. The same year they moved to Minnesota and settled at Milroy. They had also lived at Vesta, Redwood Falls and Wells before coming to Hartland township in 1929. The last six years they have lived in town.
Mrs. Borge was a member of the Hartland Lutheran church and honorary member of its Ladies Aid Society.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include
four sons;
Sidney and Robert of Hartland
James of Seattle, Washington
Norman of Tucson, Arizona
Two daughters;
Mrs. Clarence(Esther) Johnson of Waseca
Mrs. Vince(Ruth) Camarano of Los Angeles, Calif.
15 grandchildren
7 great grandchildren
one brother;Henry Cleveland of Sacramento, Calif.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hartland Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
