Mrs. Baxter was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. She loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and had a heart of gold. She loved children and was a very loving and giving person. She worked in the child care industry.
In addition to her husband, family members include sons: Chris R. Baxter, W. Kyle Baxter, both of Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Elizabeth M. Baxter, Wesley Wyatt Baxter; sister: Vickie Anne Ellis (Brian); mother: Faye E. Huff (George); uncle: Lt. William B. Whaley (Linda); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother: Gary Elliott Brinson, father: Gary G. Brinson, and uncle: E. Wesley Elliott.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James United Methodist Church with Rev. Sandra D. Leightner officiating. Interment followed in Westover Memorial Park.
