Mrs. Blanche Box, 86, of Winona, died February 20, 1999 at Delta Regional Medical Center of heart failure.
A homemaker, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Winona.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23 at Oliver Chapel in Winona. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bill Box.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Box of Rolling Fork; two sisters. Effie Dale Bennett of Grenada and Mrs. Doty Fultz of Clinton, La.; three grandchildren, Teresa McPhail of Vicksburg, Pam Cockrell of Greenville and Jan King of Rolling Fork; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Tolbert Bennett, Thomas Burchfield, Danny Cockrell, Lee White, Sonny Simmons and David Heath.
Oliver Funeral home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
