Bonnie "Bess" Cartwright, 71, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 1994, at Methodist Medical Center.
Born June 25, 1923, in Grenada, Miss., to Reed and Ellen Smith Crowder, she married James Cartwright on June 8, 1948. He died Nov. 17, 1966. She also was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Jacqueline Cartwright Frye; and three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Alberta) Wysinger, Mrs. Russell (Irene) Miller and Mrs. James (Beatrice) Bryant.
She was a private duty nurse.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
