Mrs. Laurel M. Maine, 78, of Fairfield died Dec. 14, in Herkimer Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Burial will be later in Springfield Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Maine was born Aug. 22, 1892 in Point Rock, a daughter of John and Carrie Aucutt Darling. She was a former resident of Springfield Center.
She was married on Feb. 22, 1916 to Edward Maine in Little Falls , he died 1955.
She is survived by four sons Erwin and Clyde of Springfield Center, Lyle of Richfield Springs and Homer of Yuma, Ariz., a sister Mrs. Carrie Rebellard, Jensen Beach, Fl., 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
