Elsie Blanchard Presque Isle 84. Died 3-24-1987 at a local hospital. She was born in Mars Hill 1-29-1903, the daughter of Garfield and Fern (Redstone) Grass. Mrs. Grass was employed for over 32 years at Atlantic Commission affiliated with A & P Stores. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Blanchard of Presque Isle, a son, Daniel Shaw, a stepson, Edward Blanchard, a step daughter, Alice Winslow, all of Presque Isle, one brother, Edson Grass of Mars Hill, 3 sisters, Neva Burke of Torrington, CT., Vira Lynch of Gardiner and Ester Graves of Mars Hill, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a special niece, Lisa Smith of Windham, 6 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Basil Shaw in 1944. Spring internment Fairmount cemetery.
