Marietta Smith Arnold, age 92, passed away April 23, 2003, in Bountiful, Utah.
Born May 22, 1910, in Granger, Utah; daughter of Manasseh Smith, Jr., and Caroline Iown Barton Smith. Married Douglas Lee Arnold, January 17, 1938, in the Salt Lake Temple. She enjoyed making quilts for many friends and neighbors and always had cookies and candy for visitors. Her family and grandchildren were all-important to her.
Survived by children, Kirk J. (Marie-France) Arnold, Sandy; Annette (Tracy) Adams, Woods Cross; Ellis L. (Nancy) Arnold, West Valley City; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grand-children; sister, Dicy Cleverly, Boise, Idaho. Preceded in death by husband March 11, 1968; son, Marvin Douglas Arnold; several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
