Helen Louise Carson, 74, of Crossville, passed away April 5, 2001. Funeral services were conducted April 6 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Arlon Way officiating. Graveside services were held April 7 at Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Carson was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Cumberland County, the daughter of Noah and Chloe Burgess Wells.
She was a teacher's aide, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Lynn E. Carson Sr. of Crossville; daughters, Lynda Monday and Annie Brooks, both of Crossville; son, Gene Carson Jr. of Crossville; brother, Allen Wells of Crossville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Cumberland County.
