Mrs. Rosetta Bills was born (as Mozetta) to the union of Mosley L. and Juanita (Barneta) Lewis Behn in Clarksville, Texas on December 7, 1928. She received her education and early religious training in her hometown. In 1954 Mrs. Bills relocated her family to Fresno, California.
She later united with Fellowship Baptist Church here in Fresno. Mrs. Bills was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. On April 30, 1998, God came and said it's time to rest.
Mrs. Rosetta Bills leaves to cherish her memories: 1 son, John Edward Bills (Fresno, CA); 5 daughters, Helen Reed Bills, Joann Westbrook, Wanda Ford, Maggie Eddings (all of Fresno, CA) and Rosemary Brown (Oakland, CA); 2 daughters, Mary Etta Bills and Betty Joe Jackson, preceded her in death.
Survivors also include 1 brother, Mel (Mosley L., Jr.) Behn (Fresno, CA); 3 sisters, a special friend, buddy and sister, Arneta Mack (Fresno, CA), Ethel Jones (Fresno, CA) and Jennie Wesley (Los Angeles, CA); 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
