Wilbur Anderson's Father Dies in Holton Monday
Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at 10:00 o'clock at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton for Mr. Arthur Anderson, 74, the father of Wilbur (Rocky) Anderson, former Onaga resident. Mr. Anderson passed away Monday at a farm he owned northwest of Holton. Burial will be in the Holton cemetery.
Born February 23, 1888 in Jackson County, he lived most of his life in Circleville and Holton.
Besides the son, Wilbur, Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Gladys, of the home; three other sons, Arthur and Ralph of Holton, and Lawrence of Ogdensburg, N. Y. three daughters, Mrs. Isabell Parrott and Mrs. Marjorie Meyle, both of Holton, and Mrs. Floe Wark, Denison; a brother, James, of Laramie, Wyo.; two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Swartz, Soldier, and Mrs. Zelpha Mayhew, Marysville; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
