Mr. DiBona was born in Italy and was a longtime resident of Quincy. He graduated from Quincy High School.
He was a member of the South Quincy Bocce Club.
Husband of the late Ophelia (Sachetti) DiBona, he is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Kennally and Paula Miller, both of Quincy; a brother, Fulvio DiBona of Quincy; two sisters, Delia "Dolly" Plant of Quincy and Alba DiBona of Weymouth; and five grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday
