Farmer of Millersburg Route 1 Succumbs After Extended Illness
Francis Nowels, 58, Millersburg Route 1, farmer, died at 5 a.m. today in his home after an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 15, 1887, in Hardy township, Holmes county, a son of Eugene and Etta Finlay Nowels. On March 26, 1914, he married Laura Kinsey, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, . . . , of the home, and two sons, . . . .; three sisters, Mrs. Isaac Snyder, Millersbug, Mrs. Della Mitchart, Sycamore, and Mrs. Orton Lautenschlager, Applecreek.
The body will remain at the Elliott funeral home, Millersburg, pending word from the son in the marines.
