Ernest W. Allison, 85, of North Grant St., Millersburg, died Monday evening at his home of a heart attack. He was born Nov. 29, 1886, in Welcome, to W. D. and Ada (Brink) Allison. He was married in 1908 to Goldie Dempsey, who died in 1927. He later married Elva (Miller) in 1945, who survives. He was employed by Holmes Co. Highway Dept. and Millersburg Gas Co. for many years. He was a member of the Christian Church in Millersburg. Surviving besides his wife are: two sons, Donavan W. of Millersburg and Herbert Guy of Killbuck; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Elliott of Millersburg; seven grandchildren; 13 great - grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Zora Castell of Millersburg, Mrs. Jessie Johnston of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Ralph (Lillis) Christopher of Deltona, Fla. A son, three brothers and three sisters died previously. Services will Thursday at 1 p.m. at Elliott - Hartline Funeral Home with Ronald Buschek officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
