Moroni passed away peacefully at his Springville home of Old Age at the age of 100 years old. He was the son of Albert Miner and Tamma Durfee. He married Nancy Elizabeth Chase on February 4, 1861 in the Salt Lake Endowment House. She preceded him in death on June 3, 1928. They had 15 children together. He was the third of nine children.
He was buried in the Springville City cemetery next to his Beloved Wife, Nancy.
