Edith A. Lorenz
Edith A. Lorenz, age 78, of St. Charles died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born March 21, 1930 in Herscher, IL to Fred and Ida Skelton.

Mrs. Lorenz worked at Richardson Electronics in LaFox and was previously employed at the Elgin Watch Factory in Elgin.

She is survived by her son, Roger Hill of St. Charles; a sister, Mary Skelton Edwards of Farmer City, IL; a brother, Fred (Hattie) Skelton of Salem, IL and Franklin (Beatrice) Skelton of Maple Park, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lorenz was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick "Fritz"; her son, Charles; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 4th at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (corner of Route 64 and Route 25), St. Charles. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 143 South First Street, Batavia, IL 60510.
