MRS. FAIRLESS-BRINK DIES FRIDAY MORNING

After a lingering illness, Mrs. Mary Ann Fairless-Brink passed away Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Michael McKenna, here.

Mary Ann Davis was born Jan. 11, 1855 in Wales and came to this country with her parents when she was 12 years of age. On October 13, 1875, she was married to Joseph Fairless.

To this union eight children were born, seven of whom survive, one dying in infancy. The children are John Fairles, Elizabeth Brotebeck, Sarah Schagne, and Phoebe Heinemann of Flint; Mrs. Anna Jane Reese of Dalton, Ohio; Mrs. Ada Hale of Pasadena, California; Mrs. Ethel McKenna of St. Charles.

Mr. Fairless died in November 37 years ago.

She was again married o Albert Brink in 1905 who preceded her in death. Since then she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. McKenna. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Sarah Mornin, Akron, O.; three brothers, James Davis, Flint; Gomer Davis and David Davis of Ohio.

Anyone who knew Mrs. Brink loved her for her kindly and loving ways, and always ready with a helping hand in time of sickness. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, with whom she was a held in highest esteem.

Short services were conducted at the McKenna home here Friday evening at 9 o'clock and the remains were taken to the home of her daughter in Dalton, Ohio on the midnight train. Funeral services were conducted in Dalton and she was laid to rest in the cemetery at Navarre, O. The funeral was delayed until Tuesday awaiting the arrival of a daughter, Mrs. Hale from Pasadena, Cal.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael McKenna and Mrs. Paul Schagne accompanied the remains to Ohio.
