Lovie Udell Wooldridge
Lovie was a member of the Modern Homemakers Club for several years.
She taught Sunday School at the First Baptist Church in Miami, OK for more than 40 years. She took great joy in teaching the little ones.
She was a loving wife of 68 years and a very caring mother, and grandma.
Mom will truly be missed but we know that she is at home in heaven with her loved ones forever!
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Morris V. Wooldridge, her son Dale Wooldridge, and her grandson Joey Wooldridge, her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Surviving family includes son & spouse Leland & Debbie Wooldridge of Galena, KS; Donna Wooldridge, daughter-in-law of Miami, OK; 4 sisters & 2 brothers; 5 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchilren.
Lovie Udell Wooldridge (Toad), 92 years of age and resident of Miami, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Lord and Savior November 26, 2012, Monday.
Lovie was born in Lampasas, TX on January 14, 1920. Her parents were Albert G. Randall and Hudson Atkinson Randall.
She was a sibling to 3 brothers and 5 sisters, all residence of Texas.
She was a graduate of Lampasas, Texas in 1935.
Pall bears: Ronnie Wooldridge, David Wooldridge, Mike Wooldridge, Nathan Wooldridge, Phillip Blazer, Jim Eddy.
Graveside services will be at the GAR Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma.
Great care was given to mother over the last few years and we would like to take this time to thank everyone at Encompass Home Health Care, Dr. Grotheer and Quaker Hill Nursing Home.
Visitation will be at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 between the hours of 6 pm and 7pm.
Services will be Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church in Miami, Oklahoma. Bob Barker will be officiating the service for Lovie.
