Mr. Floyd Edward "Pete" Randall, age 97, of Lampasas, TX died Monday April 7, 2014 at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, TX.

Pete was born October 6, 1916 in Lampasas County, TX the son of A.G. Randall and Mary Hudson (Atkinson) Randall. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

Pete was a farmer and rancher in the community for many years. He had also worked for large construction contractors earlier in his career. He was a member of the Burnet V.F. W.

Survivors are his brother, Kenneth Randall of Adamsville and three sisters; Patsy Baker of Lampasas, Martha Bryant of Goldthwaite, and Stella Ferrell of Conroe.

He is also survived by four nieces; Debbie Lindsey, Camille Plagens, Linda Porter and Judy Franks; and six nephews; Brice Eddy, Jim Eddy, Leland Wooldridge, Vernon Baker, Randy Ferrell and Albert Randall.

Pete was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Mattie Eddy, Ethel Carter and Udell Wooldrige and by one brother, Earnest Randall.

Funeral services for Pete Randall will be held Thursday April 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery.
