COVINGTON - Dorothy L. Keller, 93, of Covington, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Versailles. Dorothy was born July 16, 1919, in Jaysville, to the late Edward Barton and Sarah Elizabeth (Godown) Baumgardner. She retired from McClellan's in Piqua after 20 years of service. Her life was her family and she loved spending time with them.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Emerson Keller in 1977; son, Richard Leo Keller in 2004; grandson, Bruce Keller, five sisters: Mary Vogler, Ethel Jay, Opal Baumgardner, Goldie Baumgardner, and Lucy Dunivant; and six brothers: Roy, Henry, Walter, Melvin, John and Charles Baumgardner.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Emerson Eugene Keller of West Carrollton and Roger Duane Keller of Versailles; two grandchildren, Melanie Keller of Fla., and Craig Keller of West Carrollton; great grandson, Ryan Keller; special friends, Larry and Diane Prenger of Versailles; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford. Interment at Newcomers Cemetery, Arcanum. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. If desired, contributions may be made to the Covington Rescue Squad.
