Services for Victoria T. Starostka, 83, of 3809 13th St., Columbus, formerly of Silver Creek are at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Isidore Church in Columbus, with Rev. Floyd A. Wessling and Rev. John Starostka officiating. Burial is in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Silver Creek. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. A Christian Mothers rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. and a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Starostka was born Sept. 19, 1902, at Duncan, the daughter of Frank and Mary Brigg Czapla. She married Walter J. Starostka Nov. 19, 1919, at St. Peter and Paul Church in Krakow. Mrs. Starostka resided on a farm in Merrick County
until she moved to Columbus. She was a member of St. Isidore Church and Christian Mothers. Mrs. Starostka died Thursday at Columbus Manor.
Surviving are a daughter, Frances (Mrs. Leonard) Bosak of Columbus; a son, Dr. Raymond W. of Silver Creek; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Edna Ross of DeSoto, Kan. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 7, 1969, five sisters and four brothers.
