KENTON, March 18 - News has been received here of the death of Lawrence N. Banning, 49, native of Hardin-co who died Monday morning at his home in Decatur, Ind. He had been in failing health for six years but seriously ill only two weeks.
He was born in Hepburn Dec. 2, 1892 and was reared there. He was employed by the Erie railroad as a signal maintainer and had been located in Indiana for 16 years.
Surviving are his widow; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Banning of Hepburn; two daughters, Miss Gertrude Banning and Mrs. Robert Duff, and one son, Herbert Banning, all of Decatur.
Funeral arrangements are not complete.

KENTON, March 19 - Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Cwick funeral home, Decatur, Ind., for Lawrence N. Banning, native of Hepburn, Hardin-co, who died in Decatur Monday. The body will be brought to Kenton where burial will be in Grove cemetery.
Banning is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Banning, of Hepburn.
