Troy, Ill.--Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 3, for Mrs. Caroline Auwarter, 80-year-old resident, who died at her home in Troy Sunday, Jan. 1, at 5:20 a.m.
Mrs. Auwarter, nee Daluege, was born in Troy on Aug. 28, 1875, the daughter of Frederick and Ernestine, nee Quade, Daleuge. She was married to Robert Frederick Auwarter, who preceded her in death on March 11, 1934.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Ross, Misses Lucille and Imogene Auwarter of Troy; two sons, Alfred P. Auwarter and Charles Auwarter, both of Troy; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Norbury, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Troy Presbyterian church for many years.
The Rev. Oliver R. Chumchal officiated at the 1 p.m. service. Interment was in the city cemetery. Pallbearers were Wilfred Schultze, Arthur and Dale Dolliger, Lester, Milton and Fred Norbury.
