Miss Hagar Woody, 20, daughter of Mr & Mrs H L Woody Sr of Woody, died Tuesday, February 9 at 5 p.m. of a tumor on the brain.
She had been ill for about 4 weeks. Funeral services were held at the home of her parents Wednesday at 1 p.m. About 40 students of Cumberland High School attended.
She is survived by her parents; 4 sisters, Mrs L T (Rose) Dixon of Longview, Washington, who was unable to attend because of distance; Misses Jo, Lilly and Elise; and 3 brothers, Hugh L Jr, Elmo and Sevier.
Miss Woody was a member of the senior class of the county high school, a splendid student and a lovable character.
