Ballard, Virginia M. departed this life on December 26, 2012. She was born on Carney Run, WV on March 15, 1924, the daughter of Friend and Sara Lemasters Taylor who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Anglo Ballard and son, Darrell Ballard in 2009.
She was a Wetzel County teacher for many years beginning at Green Valley School and ending at New Martinsville School. She will be remembered by her many students as a kind and fair teacher.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Christine Ballard and two grandsons, Mark (Constance) Ballard and Andrew Ballard.
Interment will be at Paden Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
