Mrs. Martha Alf
Mrs. Martha A. Alf, 92, Elk Mound, died Saturday night at the Glenview Rest Home in Glenwood City.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from St. John's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Roy B. Schmeichel officiating. The interment will be in the Waneka Cemetery in Elk Mound.
Mrs. Alf was born in Germany and came to the United States at the age of 15. She lived in the Eau Claire area for a time and after her marriage lived in Minneapolis. Most of her life was spent in the Eau Claire area.
She was a charter member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Mrs, Alf is survived by four sons, Fred and Robert of Elk Mound, Leo of Sheldon, and Herman of Crivitz, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
