He was born Feb. 8, 1898 in the town of Rantoul. He farmed in the Potter area and was, for many years active on the Potter board of health.
Funeral services will be at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Rantoul, with burial in the parish cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, one son, Kenneth, Brillion; two brothers, Otto, route 3, Manitowoc and Walter, Chilton; one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Wenzel, Brillion; and two grandchildren.
