Rhoda L. Brubaker, 83, Altoona, died Wednesday at Golden Living Center-Hillview.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Ward and Martha (Stom) Brubaker.

Surviving are a brother, James of Weedville; a sister, Thelma McGinnis of Spring Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Ward, Harold and Robert; and four sisters: Alice, Irene, Virginia and Louise.

Rhoda was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from C-COR in the assembly department and previously had worked at Sylvania for many years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Altoona.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Stevens Memorial Chapel by Pastor Tracy Plessinger. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
