Mrs. Sarah E Burkhart
Mrs. Sarah E Burkhart, 93, of Mohnton, R D 1, died this morning at 2:10 o'clock in the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Richard M Muller, Sinking Spring, R D 6, with whom she resided for the past five weeks.
Born in Honey Brook, Chester Couty, a daughter of the late James and Rachel (Supple) Buchannan, she was a member of the Robeson Lutheran Church, Plowville. Her husband, Daniel Burkhart Sr. died on May 26 1943.
Surviving are five daughters: Violet R., wife of Richard M Muller, Sinking Spring R D 6; Margaret L., wife of Walter Horning, Wyomissing; Gertrude, widow of Isaac Moyer; Annie E., wife of John Ziegler, and Catharine C., wife of William Strock, all of Reading.
Three sons: James L., and Daniel W., both of Mohnton, RD 1, and Eugene R, Birdsboro R D; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter.
Servies will be held on Saturday at 1pm in the Dengler Funeral Home, Birdsboro, the Rev. George F Speiker officiating. Burial will be made in Robeson Lutheran Cemetery, Plowville.

Burkhart - On the 29th inst., Sarah E (nee Buchanan) wife of the late Daniel Burkhart, Sr., age 93 years.
Services from the Dengler Funeral Home, Birdsboro, Main and Spruce Sts., Birdsboro, on Saturday at 1pm. Interment in Robeson Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening.
