Services held at Hospers for Arie Roos, 60
Funeral services were conducted in the First Reformed Church of Hospers on Wednesday afternoon, October 26, for Arie Robs, 60, of Orange City who died Sunday in the Orange
City community hospital, after suffering from a malignancy. Rev. Tysen and Rev. Donald Lenderink officiated with burial being made in the Westlawn Cemetery of Hospers.
Arie Roos was born at Hospers, Ia., January 5, 1906 and a son of Dick Roos and Anna Smith Roos. He married Jennie Oldenkamp in1926. He came to Orange City in 1957 and was
employed at the county farm near here.
Survivors are the widow; six sons, Donald of Eaton, Colo., Glenn of Primgar, Robert of Sioux Center, Audley of San Diego, Calif., Richard of Norwalk, Calif., and Wallace of
Orange City. His mother, Mrs. Anna Roos of Hospers; three brothers, Henry, Cyrl, and Harold; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Brink, Mrs. Kenneth Kemmel; and 14 grandchildren also survive him.
