Henry Roos
Henry Roos, 69, Hospers, died Dec. 29 in an Orange City hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 31 in the First Reformed Church at Hospers with the Rev. Henry Vermeer officiating. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home, Sioux Center.
Mr Roos was born March 23, 1907, at Hospers. He married Martha Oldenkamp Oct. 9, 1930, at Hospers.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Byron D., and a daughter Mrs. Dean (Alma June) Hofmeyer, both of Hospers; two brothers, Cyril and Harold, both of Sibley; two sisters, Mrs. Janet Brink of Hospers and Mrs. Kenneth (Dena) Kimmel of Primghar; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
