Ralph Mortimer, 81, of 141 4th St., Chilton, died suddenly Saturday morning at his home.
Born in the Town of Chilton on July 19, 1877. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Mortimer, he was with the Chilton Malting Co. for a period of about 25 years before retiring. He was member of the Jolly Fishermen's Club.
On Oct. 23, 1902, he was married to Clara Harriman at Chilton, and she died April 11, 1947.
Two sons also preceded him in death. Survivors are four sons, Francis (Vance) and John of Chilton, Carlton of Wisconsin Rapds and Allan of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) Barber of River Forest,
111., and Mrs. Art (Rachel) Ku h l m a n n of Wausau; two Brothers, Jeff of Chilton and Roger of West Allis; two sisters, Mrs. Cash Stewart of Oconto Falls and Mrs. Henry Vincent of Kansas; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Erbe-Hloffmann Funeral Home in Chilton with the Rev. Q. M. Moeschberger officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of services.
