Mrs. Alice Maree Albright, a retired educator was born in Early Branch, South Carolina on August 11, 1920 to the late proud parents, Abraham and Carrie Gibbs Maree.

She moved to Saint Augustine Florida at an early age with her parents and became a member of the First Baptist church.

She was a graduate of Excelsior High School; she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Memorial College. She furthered her collegiate quest at Bethune Cookman College and Jacksonville University.

She was a lifetime employee of Saint Johns County School system working as the Librarian at Walter E. Harris and Richard J. Murray High School.
She was a member of the Gamma Eta Chapter Phi Delta Kappa, Inc, and a member of the saint Johns Association of retired Teachers

She leaves to cherish her memory: One son Michael Richards and Daughter- in- law Mrs. Sarah Richards of New York City one daughter of St. Augustine Four Grandchildren; Joicelyn Lewis, Michael T. Richards Kimate Richards And Andre Richards one sister Mrs. Queenie Mitchell, and a host of sorrowing Friends.
