Dorothy Elizabeth (Bobo) Thomas, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at White Oak Manor.

Born May 6, 1926, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late C. L. and Beatrice (Bell) Bobo.

Employed at the Book Rack for 20 years, she was a member of Croft Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Banks Benton Thomas of the home; a son, Jeff B. Thomas and his wife Corliss Thomas of Spartanburg; two sisters, Ruth Kneece of Spartanburg, and Mary Moser of Morehead City, NC; two brothers, Paul Bobo of Charlotte, NC, and Charles Bobo of Pauline; a grandson, Brian Thomas; and a granddaughter, Tracy Thomas, both of Spartanburg.

Visitation was 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Sunset Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Joe Dempsey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Mobile Meals Services, P. O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
