Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Paul B. Cantrell, 43, who died Thursday, April 9, 1992 in Paul B. Hall Medical Center. Mr. Cantrell was born March 13, 1949 in Johnson County, the son of the late Bryan and Ruie Blanton Cantrell. He was a gas and oil driller. He was preceded in death by one sister, Wynonia Cantrell. Surviving are his wife, Frances Cantrell; one son, Paul J.Cantrell of Georgetown; three step-sons, William Collier, Tracy Blevins and Norman Blevins; three step-daughters, Marvetta Brackett, Eva Collier and Norma; four brothers,Claude and Don Cantrell, both of Oil Springs, Joe Cantrell of Marion, Ohio and Rodney Cantrell of Salyersville; four sisters, Lula Conley and Loretta Russell, both of Oil Springs, and Flossie Wheeler and Cheryl Collinsworth, both of Salyersville. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 12, 1992 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Charles Stapleton officiating. Burial was in Holbrook Cemetery at Paintsville. Paintsville Herald
