Mrs. Ferdinand (Bertha) Fischer, 93, of Holy Family Skilled Nursing Facility, Manitowoc, a former resident of Shady Lane Home, died early Tuesday morning, Sept. 9, at the Care Facility.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Reedsville Funeral Home, Reedsville, and 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. Richard Heymen
will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fischer, nee Bertha Buchner, was born May 3, 1888, at Germany, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Buchner. She was married to Ferdinand Fischer at St. Michael Catholic Churcb (sic), Whitelaw.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Fischer and Mr. and Mrs. Reinhart Fischer of Route 1, Reedsville, and Mr. and Mrs. John Fischer of Route 1, Brillion; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Bursek of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Al (Aurelia) Puser of Brillion; 30 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
husband in 1946, a brother, a sister, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until the time of services. A parish vigil service will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday by Rev. Heymen.
