Mrs. Joseph A. Hlavachek, 54, of Rt. 2, Brillion, died Sunday at St. Vincent
Hospital, Green Bay, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Reedsville Funeral Home and
at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion, with the Rev. Raymond
Schauer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hlavachek was born Sept. 18, 1906, at Whitelaw, daughter of Ferdinand and
Bertha Buchner Fischer. She was married to Joseph Nenahlo Sept. 14, 1929. He
preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1944. She was married to Joseph Hlavachek Nov. 29,
1951. He preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1959. She was a member of the Christian
Mothers Society and congregation of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Bertha Fischer of Cleveland; two daughters, Mrs.
Henry Weiner of North Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Jerome Behnke of Brillion; a
stepdaughter, Mrs. Lloyd Kleinaus of rural Brillion; two sons, Joseph Nenahlo of
Garden Grove, Calif., and John Nenahlo at home; three brothers, Alex and Reinhardt
of Reedsville and John of Brillion; two sisters, Mrs. William Bursek of Manitowoc
and Mrs. Al Puser, of Brillion; five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rosary will be
recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church and at 8 p.m. at the funeral
home.
