Aurelia "Rolla" Anna Puser, age 96, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at a Green Bay nursing home.

She was born on Feb. 9, 1914, in rural Whitelaw, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Bertha (Buchner) Fischer. She married Alfred Puser on May 20, 1941, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1980. Rolla was a long time resident of Brillion and an active member of St. Mary's (now Holy Family) Catholic Church in Brillion and the Christian Mothers. She was a kind and generous person, active in her church and shared a great love for family and friends. She enjoyed a sharp game of bridge, sheepshead, and cribbage, as well as dancing to a good polka band.

Survivors include a son: Allan (Ardell) Puser of Green Bay; two daughters: Kathleen (Steven) Ritzke of Wenatchee, Wash.; and Mary (Dennis) Prince of Carterville, Ill.; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Kenneth in 1997; as well as four brothers and two sisters.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mathew Simonar will officiate. Entombment will be in the Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 25, 2010, and again at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to the time of Mass. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
