Alice Lenore Wills, age 97, formerly of Murphysboro, died February 28, 2013 in Evanston, IL. She was born November 23, 1915 to Grover and Mathilda (Bastian) Blankinship in Murphysboro. She married Marion "Jack" Wills in 1939. Alice raised two sons and enjoyed a career at the Southern Illinois University as the Contracts Manager in the Housing Office, where she worked for over 15 years. Upon retirement, she and Jack moved to Mesa, AZ where she lived until Jack's death in 1995. She is survived by a son, Michael Wills of Sebastopol, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack and a son, Fred Wills, who passed away in 2004. A Memorial Service for Alice Wills will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2012 at 4:00 pm in the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home with Father Bob Flannery officiating. Inurnment will be at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
