He is the son of Mr. Harvey E. & Mrs. Pearl {Tippey} Fisk of Fulton County, Illinois, and he never married. He does leave three surviving sisters, Mrs. Juanita Wright of Indian Wells, California, Mrs. Norma Craig of Port Orchard, Washington, and Mrs. Dorothy Busby of Macomb, Illinois.
Two sisters preceded him in death as did his parents, Miss Helen Newell, and Miss Doris Clevenger.
At 17 in 1952 he enlisted as a Seaman in the U.S. Navy, and did his four years, and did some civilian work like Caterpillar, and found a home in the U.S. Army for the remaining 16 years, and retired as a Platoon Sergeant.
After his discharge from the Army, he worked as a Janitor for 18 years at Belleville East H.S.
Awards: Vietnam Service Medal with Four Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, 4th award, U.S. Navy Good Conduct Medal.
